SCOUTING REPORT: One of the most impressive pure athletic specimens in the senior class in Ohio. Berry has tremendous raw skills, and could project to a number of positions at Ohio State. The hope is that once he has one position to concentrate on, that Berry will be able to have his production match his potential.

WHAT HIS HEAD COACH SAID ABOUT BERRY:

"I've only had him for one year, and when we took the job here the program was what it was," McFarland began. "Rashod came to me asking about schools like Florida State and Ohio State, and I had to be honest with him and tell him he had not shown enough through his junior season to be at that type of school. When I looked at his film, he just didn't make enough plays."

"Now, that kind of hurt his feelings a little bit, but he worked really hard on being a better player, starting from the first day we started practice in the summer," he added. "What happened this year, and it's still happening, is that he has gotten better each game. He's using his hands better, he's gotten faster, and he's catching the ball a lot better. He's just doing more things that catch college recruiter's eyes."
