BSB TV: Buckeyes Look For 4th Straight Win

Both Purdue and Ohio State put three-game winning streaks on the line in West Lafayette tomorrow at 6:30 p.m.

Ohio State (17-5, 6-3) travels to Purdue tomorrow, beginning a stretch of play where four of five contests come on the road. Like the Buckeyes, the Boilermakers (14-8, 6-3) are riding a three-game winning streak and are in a tie for second place in a crowded Big Ten.

Purdue starts A.J. Hammons at center and the 7-0 big man is a tough matchup for any team. Add in seven-foot reserve Isaac Haas and the Boilermakers boast more size than any team in the conference, begging the question of whether Thad Matta can use the small lineup, one that doesn’t feature a traditional post player, against Purdue.

Shannon Scott spoke about what it will take to beat Purdue on the road and why the Boilermakers have been playing their best ball lately.

The Buckeyes are coming off their best game of the season, an 80-56 win over Maryland. Matta spoke about what made them so good in that game and how they can carry that effort forward.
