Mike Weber

SCHOOL: Detroit Cass Tech

SIZE: 5-foot-9, 210-pounds.

POSITION: Runningback.

POSITION RANKING: Number-9 runningback.

SCOUTING REPORT: Weber is a compact back who runs with good patience. He is a slasher with a good burst and good acceleration. He catches the ball well out of the backfield and also does a nice job in pass protection. He has run largely out of the shotgun in high school and would have to adjust if he goes to more of a traditional I-form team in college. He's shown the ability to run between the tackles but is not a true power back. - Allen Trieu.

WEBER AT THE Army BOWL: Four-star running back Mike Weber rushed 10 times for 51 yards to lead all rushers in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. he averaged 4.9 yards per carry in his team's 39-36 victory over the East.

"Today, I started off slowly," Weber said. "We weren't really clicking with the offensive line early in the game, and all the running backs had to get in to get reps, but in the second half and especially towards the end, the coaches started feeding me the ball more."

Weber was consistently one of the most impressive backs for the West, and he was named to Scout's power rankings list of top 10 overall performers on the week.
