Cornell

SCOUTING REPORT: Long, athletic kid who has filled out more and could even play inside at times in college. Has shown he can get to the quarterback and be an effective pass rusher. He has good quickness off the ball and the feet and athleticism to get around would-be blockers. Shows good discipline and stays at home and keeps contain. Still needs to get stronger and improve his pad level against the run. - Allen Trieu.

ON PLAYING NEXT SEASON:

"I think I have a good shot at getting on the field next year," he exclaimed. "That's why I'm going in early, and I'm mentally prepared for it. It's time to play Big-Boy football."

"I'm anxious to work with Coach (Larry) Johnson, and he's the main reason I'm going to Ohio State," Cornell said. "One of the best D-line coaches in the game. He's a great coach, and he's going to get me ready for the NFL."
