BSB TV: Buckeyes Prepare For Boilermakers

Ohio State will look to avenge an early February loss at Purdue tomorrow night at Value City Arena.

Ohio State will look for its second consecutive home victory tomorrow and to avenge a two-point loss from early February when Purdue comes to Columbus. Head coach Thad Matta and players addressed the importance of getting on a role as the calendar turns to March.

Matta addressed the improvement of the Boilermakers this season and what when wrong in West Lafayette.

When Purdue beat Ohio State A.J. Hammons finished with seven points, seven rebounds and seven blocks. Amir Williams will once again be the main defender on the Boilermakers’ seven footer and he spoke about the importance of defending the pick and roll with the Boilermakers big.

Thankfully for Ohio State, tomorrow’s game comes at home where the team is 17-1. Senior Shannon Scott spoke about the difference playing at home makes for the Buckeyes.

Scott is one of five seniors who will be playing their second-to-last home game of their career against the Boilermakers. Matta spoke about the importance of those players cherishing their time at Ohio State and when he started addressing that with his seniors.
