Ohio State began spring practice Tuesday, the start of what the Buckeyes hope is a second straight national championship season.
The first-ever College Football Playoff National Champions began their title defense Tuesday as Ohio State held its first spring practice.
The quarterback position, featuring a pair of Top 5 Heisman finishers in J.T. Barrett and Braxton Miller and national championship quarterback Cardale Jones, will be the most scrutinized position for the Buckeyes this spring. Jones is the only one fully healthy, though Miller and Barrett did engage in some stretching and drills.
Miller and Barrett are not the only players dealing with injuries. Barrett was on the stationary bike during initial stretching and was joined by James Clark and Dontre Wilson.
Wilson’s counterpart at the H-back position, Jalin Marshall, was doing punt return drills alongside Curtis Samuel.
The first-team defensive line consisted of Tyquan Lewis, Tommy Schutt, Adolphus Washington and Joey Bosa.
