will head to Portland as a No. 10 seed to take on No. 7 Virginia Commonwealth as the Buckeyes try to get back on the winning track in postseason play after last year's first-round exit.
The matchup with the Rams could be favorable to the Buckeyes, who have two seasoned ball handlers in Shannon Scott and D'Angelo Russell. VCU is also a perimeter-based team which could help Ohio State given the lack of depth in the middle with Anthony Lee out.
