While the majority of the team was warming up with sprints, some injured players slowly went through some high-knees. Those players included wide receiver Johnnie Dixon, offensive linemen Jacoby Boren, Demetrius Knox and Kyle Trout and defensive lineman Dylan Thompson.
Linebackers Joshua Perry and Darron Lee worked with some defensive linemen on pass-rush drills periodically throughout practice, though they did also work on footwork and positioning drills with their fellow linebackers.
Meyer seemed most observant of the offensive and defensive line drills while also overseeing the field goal kicking unit as he normally does.
Unsurprisingly Michael Thomas led the wide receivers through drills. Running back Curtis Samuel worked with the receivers and H-backs throughout practice and did not do any drills with the running backs during the time that practice was open.
