A big unofficial visit weekend at Ohio State has resulted in the commitment of North Ridgeville, Ohio, four-star running back Demario McCall. McCall is the No. 94 overall prospect in the class of 2016 and No. 3 running back.
He is the eighth commitment of what has thus far been a stellar class for Ohio State, and his commitment pushes the Buckeyes further toward the top of the 2016 team recruiting ranks.
McCall burst onto the scene with a stellar performance at a 2014 summer camp at Ohio State. His showing prompted the following evaluation from Scout.com recruiting analyst Bill Greene: "This was a WOW performance, the best individual workout I've seen so far in 2014. McCall will be in the running for Ohio's top 2016 prospect, and he answered any questions there might have been going into the camp. The speed and quickness is elite, and he caught the ball well and showed great route-running ability. This performance was a TEN, and McCall should end up a national recruit going forward. It will be fun to see how good he becomes after two more high school football seasons, but this is the type of skill set that lets a player end his high school career at one of the national all-star games."In addition to Ohio State, McCall held offers from Iowa, Pittsburgh and Tennessee.
