Spring Game Commits For OSU?

This will be yet another big recruiting weekend at Ohio State, with the Buckeye spring game on the schedule and several recruits on hand. Who is likely to pledge to the Buckeyes this weekend?

BUCKEYE COMMITMENT SCORECRARD:

Liam Eichenberg. 2016 Offensive lineman. Cleveland St. Ignatius. This one has been played very close to the vest and anyone saying they "know" where Eichenberg is headed is only guessing. This is a Notre Dame/Ohio State battle, and the decision could come soon. PREDICTION: I'm going with Notre Dame, but knowing full well that Urban Meyer can work his magic Saturday and land the in-state four-star. Very tough to call.

Donnie Corley. The 2016 wide receiver out of Michigan is a desired commodity by the Buckeye staff, and they would take his commitment yesterday. In a year where they have a great shot at landing the best wide receiver group in America, Corley would be welcomed with open arms. PREDICTION: He has been all over the board, at times favoring Michigan, Tennessee and Michigan State. I think Ohio State is in this, but I do not see a decision this weekend.

Malik Barrow. 2016 Defensive line. The big man out of Bradenton could be close to pledging to the Buckeyes, and a decision this weekend would not be a surprise at all. He can play outside, but more than likely slides inside for Ohio State. PREDICTION: I think Barrow gets it done this weekend, and is a Buckeye pledge by Saturday evening.

Jack Wohlabaugh. 2016 Offensive lineman. The in-state interior lineman does not hold a Buckeye offer at this time, but he could receive one of those "instant" offers, one where you either take it on the spot or it never existed. More than likely this is a camp kid, but surprises happen. PREDICTION: If offered, Wohlabaugh becomes a Buckeye.

Wayne Davis. 2016 Defensive back. Virginia. Ohio State is in a position to land Davis, and they are the lead dog in his recruitment. While a decision might not be expected this weekend, one would not surprise. PREDICTION: If they push hard for Davis, he could be a Buckeye.

Marcus Williamson. 2017 Cornerback. I have the Westerville South product in the class, and the clock is ticking. It certainly could come today, and his parents were hoping it would have come last week at Saturday's practice. It's over. PREDICTION: Buckeye. Whenever Marcus decides to go public.

Trevon Grimes. 2017 Wide receiver. The St. Thomas Aquinas product could be the highest rated player in Florida in next year's junior class. Ohio State has a huge lead for Grimes and I see him in the 2017 class at some point. PREDICTION: It could come this weekend, and I have him in the class. Whenever he decides to announce.

Todd Sibley. 2017 Runningback. Akron Hoban. While Ohio State is in great shape for the four-star back, I do not expect a decision Saturday. Sibley is loving the recruiting process and is only a high school sophomore, so this could play out a while. PREDICTION: Could he get caught up in the moment hanging out with Danny Clark and Bruce Judson, and pull the trigger? It could happen, but I think it's too soon.
