Buckeyes To Play Trio Of Big Ten Night Games

The Ohio State football team will play at least four night games this fall. The Buckeyes announced that they will play Penn State, Rutgers and Minnesota under the lights.

The Ohio State football team will host a trio of Big Ten foes under the prime-time lights this fall.

Ohio State announced Thursday that the Buckeyes will host Penn State and Minnesota for night games and travel to Rutgers for an addition night game. Each game will be on ABC, ESPN or ESPN2, exact channel yet to be determined. The Buckeyes will host Penn State Oct. 17 at 8 p.m. EST and the Golden Gophers Nov. 7 either at 7 or 8 p.m. In between, OSU will make its first trip to Rutgers Oct. 24 at 8 p.m. EST.

The trio of conference night games ups Ohio State’s prime-time game total to four. The Buckeyes will open the season Sept. 7 vs. Virginia Tech at Lane Stadium. The time for that contest has yet to be announced.
