Video: Ohio State Safeties And Running Backs

Ohio State coaches Chris Ash and Tony Alford addressed the media following practice Monday, as did select safeties and running backs.

Following the first post-training camp practice of the fall, the Ohio State safeties and running backs spoke about camp, the upcoming season and (shockingly) complacency.

Buckeye safeties coach Chris Ash talked about the progress of his unit, including the fact that Damon Webb is currently the No. 1 option for the nickel back.

Starting safety Vonn Bell also spoke about the backups as well as his role in the defense.

Tyvis Powell told reporters that he wanted fans leaving games talking about the Buckeye defense rather than the star power on the other side of the ball.

Speaking of the offense, Tony Alford addressed the running back position, including the presence of Ezekiel Elliott, the setback Mike Weber is facing and who is in line to get the bulk of the backup carries.
