Ohio State has lost one of the crown jewels of its 2016 recruiting class.
Kareem Walker, a five-star running back out of Wayne (N.J.) DePaul Catholic, has decommitted from the Buckeyes.
Walker is the No. 2 running back and No. 25 overall prospect in the class of 2016. He visited Michigan for the Wolverines’ 38-0 win against Northwestern on Oct. 10 and plans to take several other visits before choosing a school and enrolling in January. Ohio State previously had four-star George Hill decommit, but that was followed shortly by a commitment from four-star Antonio Williams.
