Urban Meyer spoke to the media Wednesday with some updates about the Buckeyes heading into their game with Illinois this weekend.
J.T. Barrett, back from his one-game suspension, has looked good in practice and is still in line to start at quarterback, Meyer said. As far as players working back from injury, receiver Parris Campbell is probable while Dontre Wilson is questionable and Johnnie Dixon is out.
Tommy Schutt is back after having surgery to repair a broken wrist. The defensive tackle missed two games and had the open week to get healthy. He said he's excited to play in his home state Saturday.
The game against the Illini will kickoff at noon eastern, only the second time the Buckeyes have played that early this season. Linebacker Joshua Perry said the team enjoys noon games and spoke about the responsibility of leaders to prepare those behind them.
Shutt spoke about the leadership on the Ohio State defense and specifically what his unit gains from speeches by Perry and Raekwon McMillan. The Silver Bullets will need to be fired up for an Illini team that put up 48 points and 595 total yards last week against Purdue.
