Videos: Buckeyes Preparing For Fiesta Bowl

Ohio State held its on-campus media day for the Fiesta Bowl. Buckeye players and coaches addressed the pending matchup with Notre Dame and more.

Ohio State leaves for Arizona Dec. 27 for its Jan. 1 Fiesta Bowl contest with Notre Dame, but the Buckeyes are already deep into their preparation.

Players and coaches met with media Thursday for the on-campus media day and spoke about their pending matchup with the Irish and the approach to bowl practice.

A win over Notre Dame will give the Buckeyes 50 wins in the past four years. Ohio State safety Vonn Bell spoke about what that would mean for the program as well as what it will take to defend the Fighting Irish offense.

Tyvis Powell is a junior in terms of eligibility, but as he's in his fourth year in the program and would be one of those players with 50 wins. He reflected on his accomplishment at Ohio State and discussed the Notre Dame offense.

Offensive guard Pat Elflein spoke about the magnitude of the matchup with Notre Dame as well as the process he and other Ohio State underclassmen are dealing with in balancing their NFL future.
