Malik Harrison is officially a Buckeye.
The three-star wide receiver from Columbus Walnut Ridge committed to Ohio State on National Signing Day, two weeks after he officially visited the Buckeyes and cancelled his remaining official visits. He first received an Ohio State offer Dec. 4, making him the latest Ohioan (along with guys like Brady Taylor and DaVon Hamilton in previous years) to get a late OSU offer and end up a Buckeye.
It had been reported that he was planning official visits to Michigan State and Syracuse on the final weekends of the recruiting cycle, but he never made those trips and eventually pledged to the Scarlet and Gray. Harrison could be used by the Buckeyes as either a wide receiver or a linebacker.
Harrison (6-4, 215) is the No. 53 athlete in the class of 2016 according to Scout.com.
