- Duane said that if Ted Ginn Jr. doesn't go to OSU, it will be the "upset of the decade." Duane likes OSU's chances with Fred Davis but stresses that Fred will not be an early verbal and will take his time. Duane also said that he feels Brandon Braxton and Marcus Freeman may be Buckeye leans.
- Duane singled out Miles Williams as being underrated. "He can play. He can really do it," Duane said.
- Regarding the junior class, Duane said "I couldn't be more impressed with this class." Duane said the class has a bunch of late bloomers, which caused it to not look as good earlier in the year, but players have come along to emerge to make it a strong class.
- Duane raves about Alex Boone, saying how rare it is for an offensive lineman to be offered this early. Duane says Alex is a better run blocker than most big men coming out of high school.
