Ohio State Football: Players React To Oklahoma Backup QB Comments

Oklahoma backup quarterback Austin Kendall called the Ohio State defense "basic" and Ohio State players and alumni have reacted on social media as the big game looms closer.

Austin Kendall, Oklahoma's backup quarterback called the Ohio State defense "basic" in a recent interview leading up to the prime time showdown between the Buckeyes and Sooners and OSU players and alumni alike have taken notice. 

Kendall, who appears to have been a Buckeye fan in his younger years, added that he believes Oklahoma starting quarterback Baker Mayfield "will light them up" when discussing the Buckeye defense. "If my number is called, I think I can do the same," he said.

Video of the interview went viral on Twitter and Buckeyes past and present have taken notice.
