Ohio State redshirt freshman linebacker Justin Hilliard is set to miss the rest of the season with six months of rehab ahead, according to his Instagram.
Hilliard, a product of Cincinnati St. Xavier, tore his left biceps in practice last week, according to a report by Eleven Warriors. The report said he found out the severity of his injury Thursday.
The former four-star prospect had been heavily involved on special teams for the Buckeyes this season, and he was listed as a backup for Dante Booker, though it was sophomore Jerome Baker who got the start against Tulsa and Oklahoma with Booker out (MCL sprain). Through three games, Hilliard had totaled four tackles.
