Quarterback Danny Clark Decommits From Ohio State

The first member of Ohio State's 2017 recruiting class reopened his recruitment Tuesday morning.

Akron Hoban quarterback Danny Clark, the first member of Ohio State's 2017 recruiting class, announced Tuesday that he has reopened his recruitment.

Clark, a four-star prospect, announced the decision via his personal Twitter. There had been speculation regarding Clark's recruitment for some time, and that speculation was only elevated when five-star quarterback Tate Martell committed to the Buckeyes over the summer.

Clark originally committed to Ohio State on Dec. 13, 2013, meaning his recruitment was over almost before it started. According to Scout, he doesn't currently hold other offers, though that is likely to change quickly now that he's opened up the process.
