The Ohio State 2017 recruiting class continues to grow as former Missouri commit Elijah Gardiner flipped his commitment from the Tigers to the Buckeyes on Jan. 30.
A three-star wide receiver from Kemp, Texas, Gardiner adds a large frame to Ohio State's passing game. Standing 6-foot-4, he is the third receiver in the 2017 class. The Buckeyes also have verbal commitments from Trevon Grimes (6-foot-5) and Jaylen Harris (6-foot-5).
Gardiner committed to Missouri on Nov. 7, but Ohio State made a late push for the Texas native after losing Tyjon Lindsey to Nebraska. The Buckeyes appeared to have hosted him on a visit during the Buckeyes junior day on Jan. 28, two days before getting his commitment.
The Gardiner commitment gives the Buckeyes an even 20 in the 2017 class.
