WATCH: Quarterback Tate Martell Knew Ohio State Was For Him Right Away

Ohio State quarterback Tate Martell had a whirlwind recruitment before ending up in Columbus as an early enrollee.

Tate Martell had a long recruitment, to say the least.

Once Ohio State emerged into the picture, though, it didn't take long for him to figure out where he would end up. Martell, a five-star quarterback out of Las Vegas, had been committed to Washington and Texas A&M during his recruitment, but he ended up choosing the Buckeyes and enrolled in early January.

Despite the return of quarterback J.T. Barrett, Martell said he's aiming to fight for playing time right away.
