Recruits in attendance

Several recruits were in attendance for today's game, including Missouri standout OL Brett Gallimore and Michigan blue-chip hoops prospect Malik Hairston.

There were a handful of prospects in attendance for OSU's home game with San Diego State Saturday.

The biggest name was probably Michigan basketball prep All-American Malik Hairston, who was making an official visit to OSU. He is being hosted by J.J. Sullinger. He was joined at the game by OSU verbals Matt Terwilliger and Jamar Butler. Hairston, a national top-10 prospect, will visit UCLA and Kansas the next two weekends.

The top football name was prep All-American offensive lineman Brett Gallimore. It was unclear whether this was an official or unofficial visit for Gallimore.

Verbal Joe Bauserman, a quarterback from Tallhassee (Fla.) Lincoln, was also in attendance as were verbals Brandon Underwood and Steve Rehring.

Others in attendance included Michigan running back Butler Benton, Pickerington Central running back A.J. Trapasso, Canton Glen Oak junior LB Nick Roman, Chagrin Falls junior WR Bryan Robiskie, Canton Glen Oak junior LB Brandon Long, Canton McKinley junior DL Antwon Hight, Akron Hoban lineman Shawn Glasser and Hamilton DB Adam Myers.

Cedric Scott, brother of OSU DT Darrion Scott, was also in attendance. It is unclear whether Cedric Scott, an LB from Charleston (W.Va.) Capital, still plans to enroll in the winter.
