Father: Gallimore Enjoys OSU Visit

Missouri offensive line standout makes official visit for OSU-San Diego State weekend.

Riverside (Mo.) Park Hill South offensive lineman Brett Gallimore enjoyed his official visit to Ohio State this weekend, according to his father Rich.

"It went extremely well," Rich Gallimore said.

The only bad part was Brett's travel plans going home. His flight was delayed leaving Columbus, causing him to miss his connecting flight home.

Gallimore (6-5, 290, 5.2) is rated as the nation's 14th-best offensive line prospect by The Insiders.com.

"He said it was a pretty good game, even though they didn't play very well," Rich Gallimore said. "But that happens to everybody and he knows that.

"He talked to all of the coaches and everybody there. He said it was a good visit for him."

Rich Gallimore said his son has been very busy. He made an unofficial visit to Nebraska last weekend. Next weekend, he will make an unofficial visit to Michigan for the Notre Dame game.

Over the weekend of Sept. 20, he is scheduled to make an official visit to Iowa.

"That may become an unofficial visit," Rich Gallimore said. "We only live three hours from there. We could drive there and pay for our own room so he can save that visit and go someplace else instead.

"I'm not sure what he is going to do about Purdue. He is scheduled to see Florida State later in the season, but I think he wants to get that done sooner.

"Besides Ohio State, I know he will also take an official visit to Florida State and one to Michigan. Those seem to be the big three he is looking at."
