According to a list released by the NBA, Ohio State junior guard Kam Williams is set to enter the 2017 NBA Draft.
Williams is the second Buckeye to announce his intentions for the draft, as Trevor Thompson made his announcement to enter the draft shortly after Ohio State's season ended.
Williams is able to enter his name into the draft but leave open the option to return to school for the 2017-18 season as long as he does not hire an agent or accept money for travel to workout for NBA teams. Thompson took advantage of this rule last season and returned for the 2016-17 campaign.
As a redshirt-junior for Ohio State in 16-17, Williams 9.4 points per game in extensive action, serving as a spot starter following the injury to Keita Bates-Diop.
The deadline for Williams to opt to remain in school is May 25, which is 10 days following the NBA scouting combine.
