Former Ohio State cornerback and current NFL Draft prospect Gareon Conley released a statement through Vantage Management Group on Thursday in response to allegations that he sexually assaulted a woman at the Westin Hotel in downtown Cleveland on April 9.
"The allegations against me concerning the night of April 8/9 that have recently been reported in multiple media outlets are completely false," the statement said. "I did not commit a crime and have not been charged with a crime."
The full statement, tweeted by NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, can be seen below.
Conley has been accused of sexually assaulting a 23-year old female during a stay in Cleveland earlier in the month. Cleveland 19 and TMZ Sports were the first to report the news.
No arrests have been made in the case and no charges have been filed at this time. Conley has announced he will not attend Thursday nights NFL Draft in Philadelphia despite being considered a first round prospect.
