According to reports and multiple tweets, Ohio State has just landed its ninth commitment in the 2018 class in Florida cornerback Sevyn Banks.
Banks, a four-star recruit, reportedly committed to the Buckeyes following a visit from cornerbacks coach Kerry Coombs. Banks held offers from multiple big name schools including Auburn, Florida, Florida State amongst others. The news was first reported by the Orlando Sentinel.
While Banks has not yet announced the commitment himself, he has acknowledged the reports by retweeting congratulations on his commitment via his Twitter account.
Banks is ranked as the No. 292 overall prospect in the country according to Scout and is the No. 7 corner in the state of Florida. He is the third commit out of the state of Florida in the class, joining defensive tackle Taron Vincent and running back Brian Snead.
