Will Ohio State Be Next For Steven Faucheux?

The state of Ohio is loaded with top defensive line prospects for the class of 2019, and Ohio State has already offered three of the best. Will Steven Faucheux be the next one offered by the Buckeyes?

After seeing most of the top 2019 prospects in Ohio the past few months, there's no doubt that the top position group is the defensive line and Ohio State has their eyes focused on these in-state prospects.

The Buckeyes have already offered defensive ends Zach Harrison and Cade Stover, as well as defensive tackle Jowon Briggs, and Ohio State has a great shot at landing all three players.

Other in consideration for Ohio State offers are defensive end Noah Potter, defensive tackle Rodas Johnson, and versatile end/tackle Steven Faucheux

Of those three, Faucheux is probably the highest on the Ohio State recruiting board because he has the ability to play either strong-side defensive end, or slide inside and play defensive tackle.

Faucheux recently landed an Alabama offer, and also holds Power Five offers from the likes of Cincinnati, Florida, Kentucky and Louisville.

He recently visited Ohio State and came away impressed. A strong summer camp performance will more than likely land Faucheux a Buckeye offer, and they will be tough to beat for him.

After seeing Faucheux in action at both the Cleveland Nike camp and the Under Armour camp in Cincinnati, there's no doubt that Faucheux can play at the highest level of college football.
