One Ohio quarterback who is off to a nice start this season is Upper Arlington's Mike Maciejowski.
"We're 2-1," he said. "Clayton Northmont was a huge win for us. They're one of the top teams in the state of Ohio.
"We came out flat the following week and lost a game to Findlay that we shouldn't have lost."
Maciejowski had a very busy summer, camping all over the region.
"After the Ohio State camp, Coach Daniels said they wanted to see tape after the third or fourth game and then they were going to let me know what they are going to do," Mike said. "They thought I was moving better and throwing the ball better now."
Mike's schedule has prevented any visits so far.
"I've been invited to games by a bunch of different schools, but we have film study on Saturday so I haven't been able to go to games," he said.
A couple of Big Ten schools are currently standing out.
"I really like Minnesota a lot," Mike said. "They've already offered, and they're being very aggressive in recruiting me... I really like Illinois too. I am probably going up to the Minnesota/Michigan Game."
"University of Cincinnati is coming in now," he also said. "After the Clayton Northmont game, they started to contact me."
