Ohio State Football: Four More Game Times Announced

Ohio State announced four more start times May 31 for the 2017 football schedule.

The Ohio State football 2017 schedule is beginning to fill in.

After the school announced May 25 the Buckeyes will open the season with a pair of primetime games, Ohio State announced the start times and television providers for games against Army, Maryland, Penn State and Michigan.

The Buckeyes game against Army is set for Sept. 16 and will kickoff at 4:30 p.m. at Ohio Stadium and will be televised on FOX. Ohio State has yet to take on Army in school history, but did play Navy in 2014, defeating the Midshipmen, 34-17.

Ohio State's homecoming game for the second time in three years will take place against Maryland and is scheduled for either a 3:30 or 4 p.m. start time Oct. 7 with the network still to be determined. The Buckeyes have won all three matchups against the Terps since Maryland joined the Big Ten in 2014, with the most recent win coming by a 62-3 score in 2016.

Penn State is set to come to Columbus on Oct. 28 and the game is set to be televised on FOX with kickoff set for 3:30 p.m. While this game would be a prime candidate for a night game, FOX also owns the rights to the World Series, which will likely have a game scheduled for later than evening.

The 114th installment of The Game is set for a traditional noon kickoff in Ann Arbor, Mich. on Nov. 25 and will be televised on FOX. Ohio State has won five straight in the rivalry against Michigan, including a 30-27 double overtime victory in 2016.
