Lancaster RB Michael Cathers carried for 265 yards and two TDs on 25 carries in a 38-17 win over Gahanna.
Dublin Coffman QB Jack Rafferty completed 22 of 33 passes for 308 yards and four TDs and also ran for 95 yards and two more scores in a 42-7 rout of Newark.
Columbus Independence RB Erik Haw, an OSU verbal, rushed 31 times for 306 yards and four TDs (38, 1, 31 and 6 yards) in a 53-6 win over Columbus South.
Columbus Walnut Ridge RB Gary Russell had 228 yards and two TDs in a 41-22 win over Columbus Marion-Franklin.
Pickerington Central RB A.J. Trapasso rushed for 175 yards and two TDs in a 20-6 win over Grove City Central Crossing.
Cleveland Glenville ripped Cleveland East 39-6 as QB-DB Ted Ginn Jr. scored on runs of 10 and 48 yards and also had a 98-yard interception return for a score.
Cleveland St. Ignatius defeated Shaker Heights 56-29 as QB Brian Hoyer threw three TD passes, one to TE Mike Massey.
Cincinnati Anderson extended its regular season win streak to 24 games with a thrilling 42-39 win over Cincinnati Winton Woods. QB Kurt Shoemaker completed 19 of 29 passes for 298 yards and one TD and also rushed for 132 yards and three scores for Anderson. His 42-yard pass to Mark Mullenax with 42 seconds left was the game winner.
Cincinnati Elder nipped Indianapolis Bishop Chatard 17-16 on D.J. Hueneman's 19-yard field goal with 2:03 left before 10,000 at The Pit.
Akron Hoban RB Tyrell Sutton had 228 yards and three TDs on 25 carries in his team's 23-7 win over Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary.
Columbus Beechcroft DB Sirjo Welch, an OSU verbal, had a 48-yard punt return for a score in his team's 51-6 win over Columbus Linden McKinley.
Cleveland Benedictine RB Ray Williams had two TD runs in a 49-10 win over Fremont Ross.
Akron Garfield sophomore RB Chris Wells had 18 carries for 123 yards and a TD in his team's 28-13 win over Ellet.
Warren Harding fell behind Youngstown Mooney 13-0 before rallying, behind a pair of TD passes from Alex Engram to junior Mario Manningham, to pull out a 21-19 win.
Hubbard RB Shaun Lane, an OSU verbal, had 113 yards and two TDs before leaving his team's game just after halftime due to an undisclosed injury. Newton Falls went on to post a 28-15 win.
Massillon Jackson nipped Canton McKinley 24-23 in overtime before a crowd of 8,500. RB Mike Nemeth had two TD runs for Jackson, while Ryan Brinson had 183 yards and a TD on 29 carries for McKinley.
Findlay QB Danny Baker completed 25 of 45 passes for 311 yards and two TDs but Massillon Washington rode a string of big plays to a 34-17 win before 8,644 at Paul Brown Tiger Stadium. QB Steve Hymes rushed for a 43-yard TD and also threw a pair of TD passes, including a 62-yarder to Billy Relford. Tyler Curliss had 18 catches for Findlay.
Toledo Rogers WR-RB Fred Davis had seven catches for 126 yards and both of his team's TDs in a 21-14 loss to Toledo Bowsher.
Huber Heights Wayne blasted Springfield South 45-12. LB Marcus Freeman caused an early South fumble leading to a Wayne score. RB Thomas Mouser had 117 yards and four TDs for Wayne, which improved to 3-1.
Xenia crushed rival Beavercreek 51-0, piling up over 500 yards total offense behind OSU verbal OL Ben Person.

OSU Verbals Outside Ohio
Mount Carmel, Pa., with OL Jon Skinner, pulled out a 34-28 overtime win over Southern Columbia in a battle of two defending state championship teams. Mount Carmel visits Shamokin Sept. 19.
Tallahassee (Fla.) Lincoln defeated Orlando Edgewater. QB Joe Bauserman was 1 of 16 passing for 24 yards with three INTs. But he did score the game-winning touchdown on a 1-yard run in the fourth quarter. , who threw for 178 yards and rushed for 46. Bauserman threw a 19-yard TD to Fred Rouse in the fourth quarter before his 1-yard TD run was the game winner with 4:50 left.
