Number of top prospects on hand for OSU-Bowling Green contest.

Ohio State welcomed in a number of top prospects for Saturday's game with Bowling Green at Ohio Stadium.

The top name was Cleveland Glenville QB-DB Ted Ginn Jr., Ohio's top-ranked senior prospect according to Ohio's Future Stars. Ginn attended the game one day after helping Glenville post a 39-6 win over Cleveland East. In that game, Ginn had a 96-yard interception return for a score and also had a pair of TD runs.

Ginn attended the game with junior DB Jamario O'Neal, Ohio's No. 1 junior and an OSU verbal. O'Neal is awaiting clearance to join the Glenville team after transferring from Mansfield Senior.

Verbals in attendance included Miles Williams and Steve Rehring.

Also in attendance were Canfield punter Justin Kucek, Canton GlenOak kicker Jason Giannini, Akron Garfield junior DB Marcus Council, Troy junior DT Todd Den linger (ranked No. 5 in the state among juniors by OFS) and Columbus Eastmoor LB Dionte Johnson.

A key name from out of state was standout Ronald Talley of Detroit Renaissance. Talley (6-3, 233, 4.76) is a highly rated DE prospect. He has offers from Indiana and Louisville and is also looking hard at Tennessee, Notre Dame and Boston College, among others.
