Freeman commits to Ohio State

Huber Heights Wayne LB Marcus Freeman has committed to Ohio State.

A short time ago, Huber Heights Wayne LB Marcus Freeman made his announcement that he has committed to Ohio State. Freeman announced his decision in front of his classmates at Wayne High School.

The 6-2, 230 pound linebacker is rated by the Insiders.com as the #11 linebacker prospect in America and has been rated by several recruiting services as one of the nation's top 100 overall players. Freeman is rated as one of Ohio's top ten overall prospects by Ohio's Future Stars.

Freeman is known for his tremendous strength and physical ability. He clocked in with a 4.39 40 at Ohio State's Senior Advanced Camp in June and can bench press well in excess of 400 pounds.

Freeman becomes the 11th player to commit for the Ohio State recruiting class of 2004. We will have more from Gary Housteau shortly.
