Florida Pair Attends Big Ten Opener

Two Miami-area standouts among small group of prospects in attendance at OSU-Northwestern game.

There were just a handful of prospects in attendance for Saturday's Big Ten opener with Northwestern, but two of them came quite a distance to see the Buckeyes in person.

Miami Edison offensive linemen Jacky Claude and linebacker Brouce Mompremier made unofficial visits to OSU for this game. Claude (6-4, 300) was returning to Columbus after attending OSU's summer camp. He and Mompremier (5-11, 210) are each considered among Florida's top 50 prospects.

Another key name in attendance was Toledo Rogers RB/WR Fred Davis, one of Ohio's top five prospects.

Also attending the game were OSU verbal Chad Hoobler, a TE/LB from Carrollton, Ohio; Euclid LB Brandon Smith; Dola Hardin Northern‘s Jordan Weihrauch; and Middletown RB Jimmy Calhoun, who committed to Miami (Ohio) earlier in the week.
