Orlando (FL) Oak Ridge defensive lineman Joe Joseph has emerged as one of the top defensive line prospects in the Sunshine State. Joseph stands in at 6-4, 255 and reports a 4.9 40. He had 68 tackles and six sacks this year and did not play on offense.
Joe has been offered by OSU and he is interested in the Buckeyes, but he hasn't heard from them lately.
"Yes, I have been offered, but I haven't talked to Ohio State for a while," he said.
He's got all but one visit set to go.
What about the fifth visit?
"Ohio State, it's supposed to be," he said. "We just haven't set anything up."
What does he think about Ohio State?
"I like the way Ohio State approached me," he said. "I want to get up there and see how things are, how the team interacts with the coaches."
Joe says all those schools have offered him, and it doesn't matter to him whether he plays DE or DT. He doesn't have a winter sport but throws shot and discus in track in the spring and is fully qualified with a 2.6 GPA and a 19 on the ACT.
