First, Dublin Coffman defensive end Alex Barrow made his scheduled visit to Maryland.
"It was fun," Barrow said. "They were trying to get me to commit. They said they would keep recruiting me. The campus there was real nice. Everything was within walking distance. All of the coaches were real cool."
Barrow opened his visits Nov. 28 at Pittsburgh.
"The Pittsburgh visit was different than this one," Barrow said. "They had a game. The campus there is in the middle of a big city. But I liked them both in different ways."
Barrow has a trip set to Ohio State Jan. 9 and has added visits to Michigan State Jan. 16 and Northwestern Jan. 23.
"I've got to see them all," Barrow said.
Another prospect on the radar for Ohio State is Lyndhurst Brush defensive lineman Alfred Martin.
Martin (6-6, 250, 4.9) opened his visits Dec. 5 at Toledo. He was to visit Wisconsin this weekend, but the trip was canceled. He is now set to see Cincinnati Jan. 9, Ohio State Jan. 16 and Louisville Jan. 23. All but OSU have offered.
"I talked to OSU at the beginning of the week," Martin said. "I spoke with (assistant Mel) Tucker. We set my visit for Jan. 16."
Martin said he has spent time with former Brush teammate Roy Hall, a redshirt freshman at OSU this year.
"We sat down and talked," Martin said. "He said it's pretty cool. I guess I just need to wait right now and see what happens."
Martin, who is qualified with a 2.5 GPA and a 17 on the ACT, had five sacks for an 0-10 team this past fall. He is being recruited as a defensive tackle.
