OSU To Release Academic Findings Today

Ohio State just sent out word that there will be a press conference this afternoon to release details of the internal investigation into academic misconduct involving members of the football team.

Ohio State just sent out a release announcing a press conference this afternoon where university president Karen Holbrook and others will share findings from the school's internal investigation into academic misconduct on the football team.

It is interesting that athletic director Andy Geiger and football coach Jim Tressel will apparently not be attending the press conference.

University to release results of investigation News conference set for today

The Ohio State University will hold a news conference today to release the results of the President's Special Investigation Committee.

President Karen A. Holbrook with Interim Executive Vice President and Provost Barbara Snyder formed the committee last July following allegations in the New York Times questioning the university's integrity with respect to student athletes.

Joining Holbrook and Snyder at the news conference will be Matthew Platz, distinguished university professor in the Department of Chemistry, who chaired the committee.
