Ginn selects Ohio State

The weekend got even better for the Buckeyes as Ted Ginn, Jr., the No. 1 CB prospect in America, has committed to Ohio State. Ginn is participating in today's All-American Bowl in San Antonio. We hope to have comments from him after the game. Stay tuned.

Ted Ginn, Jr., the #1 player in Ohio and the #1 CB prospect in America, has given his decision to attend Ohio State

Ginn is one of the top overall prospects to come out of Ohio in the last decade. He had an outstanding season on both sides of the football as he ran and threw for over 1,000 yards at QB while intercepting eight passes and returning five of them for touchdowns.

Ginn also visited USC, Michigan, and Pittsburgh. Out of those schools, USC made the strongest run for Ginn's services. Ginn will also run track in college as he is one of the fastest runners in the nation. He can play either WR or CB for the Buckeye football squad.

Ginn is the fourth Glenville student to join the OSU football team in the past three years.  DB Donte Whitner and DB Dareus Hiley signed with Ohio State in 2003 while QB Troy Smith signed in 2002.

Ginn is participating in today's All-American Bowl in San Antonio. We hope to have comments from him after the game. Stay tuned.
