Hall Reflects On OSU Official Visit

Fairfax (Va.) Robinson defensive end Olu Hall, a national top-100 player, enjoyed his visit to OSU this weekend. See where Hall has added trips to, however, in the last week

Fairfax (Va.) Robinson defensive end Olu Hall visited Ohio State this past weekend. Hall (6-4, 220, 4.7) is considered as Virginia's No. 1 prospect as well as the nation's No. 8 defensive end and the country's No. 61 player overall, according to TheInsidersRecruiting.com.

Hall was hosted at OSU by Marcus Green.

"I liked the academic services they have for athletes," Hall said. "The players there are just so down to earth. It's like a brotherhood there, and I liked that."

When asked if could see himself at Ohio State, Hall replied, "Oh yeah."

But he said he had no true favorite at this point.

"I guess if I had to say it, I'd put Ohio State and Virginia Tech up there," he said. "But those are the only schools I have visited so far."

Hall had a trip already set at Purdue next weekend. In the last week he has added visits to N.C. State Jan. 23 and Virginia Jan. 30.

OSU is recruiting Hall as a "Leo" defensive end, the spot being vacated by Will Smith.

"I talked to (defensive line coach Jim) Heacock about that," Hall said. "He's cool. Everybody there is just so down to earth."

As a senior, Hall had 102 tackles and 11 sacks for an 11-1 playoff team. He holds a 2.3 GPA and is awaiting test results. He will retake a college entrance exam Jan. 26.
