A new name to the Buckeye recruiting scene that we just heard last week for the first time is Anthony Hill of Hargrave Military Academy in Virginia. Hill comes from Texas, but he didn't commit to anyone out of high school.
"I'm originally from Farnsworth, TX which is about five minutes outside of Houston," he said.
Hill has some impressive numbers.
"Right now, I'm 6-7, 262 pounds, 4.6 40," he said.
Hill is in his first year at Hargrave, and he says he'll be able to enroll in college this summer. He had planned to take an official visit to OSU this past weekend, but he couldn't make it.
"I wasn't able to make it up to Ohio State this past weekend because of the weather," he said.
Hill plans on visiting OSU this coming weekend. He's already been to NC State and he's got visits to Clemson and Mississppi State set up also.
Hill could play either TE or DE, but he is listed as a TE right now.
"I didn't really play defensive end this year," he said. "I just played tight end. I got no preference to which one I play in college. I just want to get on the field."
Hargrave held a combine for their many talented players in December, and Ohio State got involved with him after the combine. Coach Prunty at Hargrave thinks Hill favors Ohio State.
Could Anthony commit to someone while on a visit, or will he wait?
"It just depends on how the visits go," he said. "I could commit at the time, I could wait. I haven't decided yet."
