Hamilton Standout Receives Early OSU Offer

Hamilton safety Adam Myers-White received a scholarship offer from Ohio State yesterday at Junior Day. The senior-to-be is one of the state's top overall prospects for this coming season.

Yesterday at Ohio State Junior Day, Hamilton (OH) safety Adam Myers-White became one of the few yearly Ohio prospects to receive an Ohio State offer.

"Yes, I was offered," he said. "I was taken into the office at halftime of the basketball game."

It's early in the process for Adam though and he's not sure what other schools he's interested in.

"I really don't know yet," he said.

Adam's father stated that Michigan has also offered and that they were the first to offer.

"He's going up to a basketball game at Michigan on the 27th," his father said. "Ohio State is his #1 choice."

Myers-White is a versatile player and is big at 6-3, 185, but his father said everyone likes Adam at one position.

"So far, everyone's recruiting him as a safety," he said.

Adam's father said that Adam is very high on OSU right now.

"Adam loves Ohio State," he said. He can everything he needs right here at home. He loves the new (indoor) field. He loves the stadium.

"Coach Tressel and Coach Tucker took him in the office at halftime and offered him... I'd be very surprised if he wasn't a Buckeye come next February."
