Rosters for the 2004 Big 33 game have been announced, and ten Buckeyes will be taking part in the game.
From the state of Ohio, seven Buckeye commitments will be participating as DE Alex Barrow (Dublin Coffman), CB Ted Ginn, Jr. (Cleveland Glenville), RB Erik Haw (Columbus Independence), TE/LB Chad Hoobler (Carrollton), OL Ben Person (Xenia), LB Brandon Smith (Euclid), and DB Sirjo Welch (Columbus Beechcroft) are all on the list.
Other participants of note for Ohio include OL Gerald Cadogan (Portsmouth/Penn State), RB Ray Williams (Cleveland Benedictine), QB Brian Hoyer (St. Ignatius/Michigan State), WR Miles Williams (Austintown-Fitch/Michigan State), OL Chauncey Incarnato (Dover/Notre Dame), OL Josh Kerr (Strongsville/Miami FL), and DE Mike Massey (St. Ignatius/Michigan).
Names to watch for on the PA side include QB Chad Henne (West Lawn Wilson/Michigan), QB Anthony Morelli (Pittsburgh Penn Hills), LB James Bryant (Reading/Miami FL), RB Andrew Johnson (Pittsburgh North Hills/Miami FL), LB Tyrell Sales (Butler Area/Penn State), and OL/DL A.Q. Shipley (Moon Area/Penn State).
Ohio State has more players than any other school playing in the game. Penn State and West Virginia follow with seven, while Michigan State has four, Pittsburgh has three, Miami (FL) has three, and Michigan has two.
The game will be played on Saturday, July 24th. Since the two states began playing each other in 1993, Pennsylvania leads the series 6-5.
