Dennis Getting Plenty Of Attention

A quarterback who will likely be one of Ohio's best at the position this year will be Millersburg West Holmes standout Tyler Dennis. The 6-1, 200 pound Dennis is receiving plenty of early attention.

When asked about who Ohio's top QB prospects are this year, Clayton Northmont's Tyler Horner and Cincinnati St. Xavier's Rob Schoenhoft are often mentioned, but Millersburg West Holmes's Tyler Dennis deserves to be mentioned with those players as well.

Dennis is a smart, well-schooled QB who makes good decisions. His father Bill Dennis is the head coach at West Holmes, and he says that Tyler is getting a lot of film requests right now.

"He's received about 150 different letters from different schools," Coach Dennis said. "He is getting hand-written letters from Purdue and will attend the Purdue elite camp."

One other camp Tyler will be attending will be the Nike Camp at Ohio State.

"He just received his Nike Camp invitation and will be attending," the coach said.

Things haven't been sorted out yet though as far as summer camps are concerned.

"We have not decided on camps," Coach Dennis said. "We're not going to make this decision until later on."
