"I haven't heard from them in a few weeks," Baumgarten said. "I haven't really heard back from them, so I'm assuming they probably aren't much interested."
The Ohio State coaches had requested Baumgarten send them a game tape of Nevill about two or three weeks ago to further evaluate him. Baumgarten said it is becoming clear Nevill is likely to end up at Utah.
"He hasn't verbally committed yet, but I think he may be going to Utah (on a visit)," Baumgarten said. "They've done a pretty good job of recruiting him for about three or four months. A lot of schools for one reason or another have pretty much backed off, so I think that's where he's going to go."
Although Georgia also remains interested, it appears the Bulldogs have suggested Nevill first attend a year in prep school to further develop his game.
For now it seems that Nevill is off the radar as far as Ohio State's recruiting efforts are concerned. If Nevill once again becomes a priority, Bucknuts will continue to monitor the situation.
