One of the top prospects in the Atlantic region has recieved a couple of scholarship offers from schools that he says every kid grows up dreaming about playing for. Is Ohio State in the mix? Take a look.

Rico McCoy, a 6-foot-2, 210-pound linebacker from Washington (DC) St. John's College is one of the top prospects in the Atlantic Region.

McCoy has several scholarship offers but says there are two schools that are the top of his wish list.

"Miami and Ohio State," Rico McCoy said. "Those are the two schools that I think every kid dreams of playing at.

"I have scholarship offers from Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, Boston College, Pittsburgh, U Conn, Miami and Ohio State.

"The schools that I have offered me a scholarship are my favorites except for maybe U Conn."

What kind of football player is Rico McCoy?

"I love to hit. I'm a physical player and I'm aggressive. I'm always looking for the knock-out.

"This year I want to be more aware on the football field. I just don't want to know where I'm supposed to be, I want to know everyone's assignment on the field." McCoy said.

Rico McCoy had a very good junior year, totaling 120 tackles and five sacks and three forced fumbles on the season.

Those numbers were good enough to earn Rico 1st team all-league honors.
