Brewster Will Camp At OSU

OL Robert Brewster of Cincinnati Wyoming is now fully qualified academically, and the offers should start coming in soon as a result. He plans to camp at Ohio State later this month and hopes to accomplish big things there.

OL Robert Brewster of Cincinnati Wyoming just confirmed today that he is now fully qualified. He is very excited about that, and he also received his first offer as Ball State came through with a full ride.

Brewster will be going to camp at Virginia this week, and he's also interested in Ohio State, Iowa, and Bowling Green, and will likely camp at all those places.

"Coach Heacock, Ohio State defensive line coach, is recruiting me," Brewster said.

Brewster is agile for his size, but he is working on getting his weight down.

"My weight's 325 right now, and I'm working hard in the weight room," he said. "I'm trying to get my weight down to 300 now so I don't have to do it in college and then build myself back up with muscle instead of fat."

Brewster is a strong player, but he was unaware of what his bench press currently would be.

"Our workouts do not really stress maxing out," he said. "The last time I maxed out was during my sophomore year, and I did 350. If I had to guess, I'd say I'm benching 375."

Brewster will be one of several outstanding prospects at Ohio State's Senior Advanced Camp, and he hopes that he is able to earn an offer from the Buckeyes.

"I'm going to Ohio State senior camp on the 27th," he said. "I'm really looking forward to that. I hope I can earn an offer. That's my goal."

Brewster was rated as one of the top 15 prospects in the state of Ohio in the spring issue of Ohio High.
