The Bucknuts Media Network is pleased to announce its affiliation with Ohio News Network, the leader in high school sports coverage in the state of Ohio.

The affiliation will focus on the "high school wing" of the Bucknuts Media Network, which includes the popular JJHuddle.com web site, the "JJ and Jerry High School Sports Radio Show" and Ohio High magazine.

"We're excited about this partnership with Ohio News Network, the leader in television coverage of Ohio high school athletics," said Steve Helwagen, managing editor for the Bucknuts Media Network. "We think this affiliation will help make high school sports fans across the state more aware of our various entities, including the web site, radio show and magazine."

The pair will launch the ONN/JJHuddle.com Power Poll, a ranking of the top high school football teams across the Buckeye state, on Aug. 20 at 8 p.m. during ONN's hour-long Grange Insurance Sport Site Preview Show, which will also replay at 11 p.m. that same evening and at 6 a.m., 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. Sat., Aug. 21.

The first regular season edition of the poll will be revealed on the Monday following the Week 3 games. ONN will first unveil the poll during the 6 p.m. hour, with JJHuddle.com posting the information immediately thereafter on their web site. The polls will continue until the Monday following the final week of regular season play, at which time the "poll champions" will be announced. The ONN/JJHuddle.com Power Poll will be selected by representatives of ONN and JJHuddle.com in consultation with coaches and media members across the state, as well as the most updated OHSAA computer rankings.

In addition to the new poll, ONN will enhance its Emmy Award-winning weekly statewide high school sports wrap-up show, Grange Insurance Sport Site, with regular weekly appearances by JJ Huddle and Jerry Rudzinski, hosts of the popular "JJ and Jerry High School Sports Show," a syndicated radio program that airs across the Buckeye state. JJ and Jerry will provide sports information and discuss issues that might be of topical interest coming out of the radio show. Grange Insurance Sport Site airs live every Friday at 11:30 p.m. throughout the school year, and repeats on Saturday mornings at 6:30 and 9:30 a.m.

"We're extremely pleased to combine resources with JJHuddle.com and bring Ohioans the most comprehensive coverage of high school football in the state," said ONN General Manager Chuck DeVendra. "Since ONN is Ohio's channel for high school sports and JJHuddle.com is Ohio's
premier web site for high school sports news and recruiting information, this partnership represents a logical step."

JJHuddle.com, which covers Ohio high school athletics, is one of the nation's largest web sites devoted to prep sports. JJ Huddle, who originated the web site of the same name, and Jerry Rudzinski are co-hosts of the "JJ and Jerry High School Sports Show," a one-hour radio show syndicated on 16 stations each week across the state of Ohio. Ohio High magazine is published three times per year, combining coverage of Ohio high school athletics with coverage of football and basketball recruiting for Ohio athletes.

JJ and Jerry will appear on Friday night's preview show to discuss the top contenders in each of the six divisions of Ohio high school football. Plus, Helwagen will appear to share insights on the state's top 10 prospects, according to Ohio High magazine.

The Ohio News Network is Ohio's own 24-hour cable news, weather and sports channel. ONN is a member of the Dispatch Broadcast Group, which includes WBNS-TV, WBNS-AM/FM, Ohio News Network and Radio Sound Network in Columbus, Ohio; WTHR-TV and SkyTrak Weather Network in Indianapolis, Indiana.
