Myers-White Has Five Schools Set

Adam Myers-White has chosen a list of five schools that he will take his official visits to. Where does Ohio State stand? Duane Long caught up with Myers-White's father for the latest.

As the season inches closer, five-star safety Adam Myers-White of Hamilton (Oh.) seems to be in position to have a big year. Adam's father Coleman White filled us in with some details.

"Adam's up to a solid 200 pounds now," White said. "Faster than ever and rock solid. It has really been something to watch this happen now that he is fully committed to playing football."

Mr. White also stated that Adam has picked out the five schools he will take official visits to.

"He's got his five," he said. "USC, Tennessee, Florida, Purdue, and Ohio State. He's already been to Purdue and Ohio State on unofficial visits."

White said that some of the talk on the Internet has gotten out of control.

"I've been reading the Internet and this stuff is crazy," he said. "I've been hearing all this about Purdue. All Adam did was go over there to take a look. All this speculation is really out of hand.

"I read somewhere where Adam was going to Oklahoma. Adam is not even going to visit Oklahoma. He has his five. Ohio State is still the solid front runner."

Adam also has a general idea when he will be giving OSU his official visit.

"We will be coming up to Ohio State for the Cincinnati game and he will likely take his official visit at the Michigan game," Mr. White said. "Chances are we will be up there for most Ohio State games."
