OSU Welcomes Prospects For Wisconsin Game

Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary defensive end Lawrence Wilson made an official visit and Illinois OL Dan Doering, a national top-50 player, was also in attendance.

Ohio State welcomed in a large contingent of prospects for Saturday's pivotal Big Ten clash with Wisconsin.

One of the top names was Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary defensive end Lawrence Wilson, who was making an official visit after his team played at Columbus St. Charles last night. Wilson (6-6, 245) is rated as Ohio's No. 12 prospect by Ohio High's Duane Long. He figures to decide between OSU and Notre Dame sometime in the next several weeks.

Also, Barrington, Ill., offensive lineman Dan Doering (6-6, 290, 5.0) was in attendance. Doering is a national top-100 prospect. He is ranked No. 27 overall nationally by TheInsidersRecruiting.com. He is also the No. 2 overall prospect in Illinois and the nation's fourth-best OL prospect.

Pittsburgh standouts Jon D'Alesandro, RB Ed Collington and junior WR Wes Lyons, brother of OSU receiver Devon Lyons.
