Recruits Attend OSU-Indiana Game

Ohio State welcomed in a number of prospects for today's game with Indiana.

The key name was Chino, Calif., defensive back Shawn Oatis. The 6-2, 205-pound Oatis played a game in California Thursday, then jetted to Columbus Friday. He is being hosted by OSU receiver Devin Jordan. He visited Notre Dame two weeks ago and will also visit UCLA possibly next week before deciding.

Also at the game was offensive lineman Ronnie Wilson (6-4, 330) from Pompano Beach (Fla.) Ely. Wilson has made official visits to Florida, N.C. State and Pittsburgh and will return to OSU for an official visit Nov. 19 for the Michigan game.

Verbals in attendance included Andre Amos, Todd Denlinger and Brian Hartline.

Also at the game was Columbus Brookhaven linebacker Alex Daniels (6-2, 220) and his teammates, WR/DB Keith Massey and lineman Mark Jackson. Others in attendance included Clayton Northmont lineman Marcus Metzger, Adairsville (Ga.) OL Nick Sloan, Bellbrook's Austin Spitler and Louisville St. Thomas Aquinas' Jon Thoma.

The Cleveland Glenville contingent included lineman Rob Rose and Bryant Browning, RB Ray Smalls and QB/WR Arvell Nelson.

Juniors at the game included Pickerington North OL Justin Boren, Canton GlenOak QB Mike Hartline, Washington C.H. Miami Trace QB Miles Schlichter and offensive lineman Cody Faulkner (6-4, 280) of Hamilton Heights, Ind. Faulkner is the son of former NFL lineman Chris Faulkner.
